Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Engineer to plan, organise and support engineering projects within our Major Projects team based in Melbourne, Australia.

This role involves coordinating the technical aspects of projects and working closely with key stakeholders to ensure project success.

  • Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring of assigned engineering projects
  • Interpreting stakeholder requirements, and generating specification documents for project deliverables
  • Developing and managing project timelines and/or other project performance indicators as required
  • Proactively identifying project issues, risks and scope changes and initiating the necessary corrective actions
  • Generating and executing Validation documents to satisfy GMP requirements associated with project deliverables
  • Performing Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) risk assessments in association with project deliverables
  • Ensuring project compliance with applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical and GMP experience highly regarded)
  • Strong project management and planning capabilities
  • Proven technical expertise with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail and sound document management practices
  • Proactive, 'can-do' attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
