Project Management in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

  • Coordinate and manage engineering projects within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, ensuring processes, systems, resources, and governance structures are in place to meet project objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and executing assigned projects to meet timelines and budgets
  • Interpreting stakeholder requirements and developing specification documents for project deliverables
  • Developing and managing project budgets and timelines, as well as other performance indicators as required
  • Identifying project issues, risks, and scope changes and initiating corrective actions
  • Generating and executing Validation documents to satisfy Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements associated with project deliverables
  • Performing Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) risk assessments in association with project deliverables
  • Maintaining project compliance with applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical and GMP sectors
  • Strong project management and planning capabilities
  • Proven technical expertise with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail and sound document management practices
  • Proactive attitude with ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
