UpGuard is seeking an experienced Tax Director to join our global team.

About the Role

This is a leadership opportunity for a tax professional who can shape and drive our global tax function forward. As Tax Director, you will be responsible for overseeing tax strategy, leading R&D tax credit claims, and collaborating closely with teams across the business.

You will have a significant impact on our financial processes and contribute to making informed decisions that drive long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement global tax planning strategies
  • Manage cross-functional teams to deliver R&D tax credit claims
  • Oversee income tax calculation and tax-effect accounting
  • Ensure tax compliance and governance in each territory we operate
  • Support M&A tax-related activities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in tax, particularly in high-growth companies operating globally in the technology or SaaS sector
  • A results-driven approach, with a proven ability to dissect complex problems, identify solutions, and drive them to completion with autonomy and efficiency
