Lead Energy Storage Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our energy storage projects in Australia. This is a senior leadership role that combines technical expertise with strategic vision, working at the intersection of cutting-edge energy storage technology and Australia's evolving electricity infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading grid connection activities across Australia, managing complex transmission and distribution network integrations for utility-scale battery energy storage systems. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, commercial, regulatory, and project delivery specialists, to develop and implement comprehensive grid connection strategies aligned with our Australian market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive grid connection strategies aligned with our Australian market expansion.
  • Technical Excellence: Oversee grid connection studies, network impact assessments, and system integration analysis for large-scale battery projects.
  • Commercial Management: Manage grid connection budgets, timelines, and commercial agreements across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Regulatory and Compliance: Navigate complex regulatory frameworks and manage relationships with Australian Energy Regulator, AEMO, and state-based energy agencies.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 10+ years in senior roles within Australian electricity industry, with specific grid connection expertise.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale renewable energy or storage project connections (50MW+ projects).
  • Deep understanding of National Electricity Rules, AEMO procedures, and network technical standards.
