Renewable Energy Project Lead - Position Overview
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Renewable Energy Project Lead to oversee and manage various renewable energy projects from inception to completion. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects while maintaining adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.
- Identify and assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes
- Develop and maintain project schedules, resource allocation plans, and budget forecasts to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams including engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Collaborate with project managers, construction managers, and other team members to ensure smooth project handovers and minimize disruptions
- Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle, including design development, construction, and commissioning
Key Safety Responsibilities:
Ensure all site safety and legal requirements are met;
Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, and performance standards;
Skill & Experience:
Proven ability to manage project interfaces, stakeholder requirements, and associated risks;
Flexible, innovative, and proactive with a strong focus on HSEQ culture and practices;
Effective team player with experience in virtual teams, while also being a self-starter capable of working independently;
Skilled in managing engineering consultants, contracts, and multidisciplinary infrastructure projects;
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera;
