About Our Team

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team at Hyatt Centric Melbourne.

As a key member of our Food and Beverage Team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and bar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests, present menus, take orders, and serve food and beverage items with a smile.
  • Provide personalized and outstanding service to all guests, exceeding their expectations at every opportunity.
  • Work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager to achieve high standards of quality and efficiency in the day-to-day operation of the outlet.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all food and beverage items on the menu and be able to make recommendations to guests.
  • Set, clear, and reset designated working areas to maintain a clean and organized environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar fast-paced environment, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate and ability to sell and upsell food and beverage combinations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to problem-solve and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
