Commercial Analyst Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Analyst to join our Power Strategy, Growth and Optimisation team. This role plays a key part in optimising asset performance, supporting commercial decision-making, and driving value across our generation portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen and analytical skills, with experience in thermal generation, energy, or asset-intensive industries. They will be able to develop financial models and business cases for asset optimisation, maintenance strategies, and investment opportunities.

About the Role

  • Optimise asset performance by analysing market dynamics, commercial outcomes, and strategic decisions.
  • Develop financial models and business cases for asset optimisation, maintenance strategies, and investment opportunities.
  • Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and scenario modelling to inform investment and operational decisions.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Prepare high-impact presentations and reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
