Clinical Simulation Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Simulation Nurse to join our team and contribute to shaping the future of healthcare education.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality support for all simulation and skills training operations. This exciting opportunity allows you to make a real impact by enhancing the student experience and complementing the learning and clinical practice aspects of the curriculum.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical and technical support to academics, students, and other technical staff using the clinical simulation environment
  • Assisting with facility management, resource allocation, and inventory control
  • Coordinating reporting and documentation, including WHS, equipment maintenance, and workspace requests
  • Undertaking ad-hoc projects and activities as required

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in relevant clinical fields, preferably with experience demonstrating specialist simulation equipment and technology
  • Solid working knowledge and acute awareness of safety regulations and operating procedures within the clinical simulation environment
  • Demonstrated strong understanding and up-to-date knowledge of relevant aspects of the Workplace Health and Safety Policy and applicable legislation
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and exercising sound judgment when resolving issues
