Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to empower Aboriginal families with children aged 0-5 through group and individual support. This role will provide integrated services, emphasising prevention and family empowerment, to improve social and economic inclusion and strengthen community ties.
About the Role
The Lifetime Learning Family Case Worker will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive services to improve outcomes for families. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing integrated support services, focusing on prevention and family empowerment.
- Developing and delivering culturally relevant parenting services.
- Fostering relationships with service providers, organisations, and community leaders.
- Creating tailored case plans aimed at achieving family goals.
- Advocating for families within the community.
Key Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A relevant Tertiary qualification in Community Services or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in case management, with a focus on strength-based practices.
- Proven experience working with Aboriginal communities and in Children's Services or Early Education.
- Comprehensive knowledge of family-related issues, including legislative requirements and local support networks.
