Job OverviewThe role of a site supervisor involves overseeing the daily activities of subcontractors, ensuring that work is executed as per business priorities and contractual requirements. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities
  • Understand subcontractor's scope of work: contract specifications, drawings and schedules.
  • Act as primary point of contact and work with subcontractors to resolve problems.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, develop mitigation plan and escalate critical issues.
  • Supervise subcontractors' daily activities and ensure work is executed as per business priorities (HSE, quality, schedule and budget) and contractual requirements. Identify and document deviations.
  • Coordinate work planning with all subcontractors trades and participate in daily planning meetings.
  • Issue non-compliance-report (NCR) to subcontractors.
  • Monitor activities and provide progress reports (HSE, quality, schedule and budget).
  • Coordinate change management process and manage claims with the subcontractors.
  • Approve timesheets, progress and invoicing.
  • Manage weekly meetings with subcontractors (progress, performance, risks and opportunities, contractual issue review, invoicing, etc.) and issue minutes of meeting.
  • Obtain and maintain all relevant subcontractor documentation as per the contract.
