Barista Job Description

At Accor, we're seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at The Sebel Quay West Suites Sydney. As a Barista, you'll be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee and beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and Serve Coffee: Expertly prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, and latte.
  • Assist Guests: Assist guests with menu options and dietary requirements, ensuring a personalized experience.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and hygienic environment, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Collaborate with Team: Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth and efficient service, meeting the needs of our guests.
  • Order Management: Ensure orders are written clearly and correctly for the kitchen and cashier, minimizing errors and delays.
Requirements:
  • Passion for Coffee: A genuine passion for coffee and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality.
  • Experience: Experience in a busy café or restaurant environment, with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
  • Certifications: Hold a valid Food Safety Handler Course and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays, with flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
  • Team Player: Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
