The Aboriginal Stakeholder & Community Engagement Officer role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the Clinical Trials Support Unit's mission of supporting clinical trials through mentoring, training, and education.
Community and stakeholder partnerships play a crucial part in growing clinical trials in the Western Cluster. This role will be integral to our team, working closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective community engagement strategies.
This position is ideal for an individual with a strong community focus, who is open to learning about the clinical trials process and how to engage meaningfully with our community and invested stakeholders in the program.
We are seeking someone who can coordinate, contribute, and deliver operation community engagement strategies and approaches that increase clinical trials for people residing in the Western Cluster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and community groups
- Contribute to the development of community engagement strategies and approaches
- Coordinate and deliver community engagement activities and events
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals
