Key Position: Cafe Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Cafe Culinary Specialist, working within a dynamic environment at our Fitness Centre.

This role involves preparing high-quality dishes, overseeing daily kitchen operations, contributing to menu development, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve a variety of dishes in line with culinary excellence standards.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new recipes and ideas for the menu.
  • Manage daily section setup, ensuring seamless kitchen operations.
  • Maintain strict compliance with food safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills when required.
  • Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar setting is highly desired.
  • Holding a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated expertise in food safety practices and current culinary trends is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional attitude.
  • The ability to remain organized and composed under pressure.
  • Possession of full working rights in Australia.
  • Ongoing Food Safety Certification.
  • National Food Safety Supervisor certification.
