We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team in North Tasmania. As a Forklift Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our fleet of forklifts and material handling equipment.

Job Description

In this role, you will conduct routine maintenance checks and servicing on forklifts and other lifting equipment, diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform repairs and replacements of components as needed, and complete service reports accurately and in a timely manner.

You will also provide technical support and guidance to clients on maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks and servicing on forklifts and other lifting equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Perform repairs and replacements of components as needed
  • Complete service reports accurately and in a timely manner
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients on maintenance and repairs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a forklift service technician or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of forklift mechanics or relevant mechanical equipment
  • Good work ethic and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
