
Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic services in line with professional standards.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent patient care skills, good interpersonal and time management skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic examinations using nuclear medicine and PET equipment.
- Maintain equipment through reliable quality control procedures.
- Manage administrative tasks related to General Nuclear Medicine and PET modalities.
- Diploma or Degree of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Technology) Nuclear Medicine or equivalent qualifications recognised by the accreditation board of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine (ANZSNM).
- Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) registration for Medical Radiation Practitioner Registration in Nuclear Medicine Practice.
- Possess or eligible for NSW EPA radioactive substance licence S14 for use of radioactive substances for nuclear medicine technology, IA16 for use in computed tomography radiation apparatus for nuclear medicine technology, IA16D for diagnostic radiography and nuclear medicine technology, IA27 for use of radiation apparatus (dexa) for BMA or BCAr.
This role plays a vital part in delivering compassionate, accurate, and safe diagnostic services, strengthening the connection between our imaging services and the communities we serve.
