Nuclear Medicine Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

The role of Nuclear Medicine Technologist involves performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging examinations and maintaining equipment through rigorous quality control procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct diagnostic imaging examinations using nuclear medicine and PET technology
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and patient safety
- Ensure administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
- Relevant qualification in Medical Radiation Technology with a specialization in Nuclear Medicine
- Current registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)
- Possession of relevant licenses and certifications, including NSW EPA radioactive substance licence
- Strong understanding of nuclear medicine procedures and experience in complex problem solving and decision making
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
