About The Job

We are seeking experienced professionals to fill ServiceNow Developer positions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, configure and customize the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize requirements.
  • Evaluate platform requirements from different business areas and explore ServiceNow's capabilities before proceeding with custom builds.
  • Write clean, efficient and maintainable code when required (JavaScript).
  • Conduct code reviews and quality control checks as part of every project to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Design and develop scoped applications, flows, scripts and other UI elements in relation to custom solutions and out-of-the-box enhancements in the ServiceNow platform.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on platform growth and development in close collaboration with the ServiceNow technical lead and development team.
  • Present ServiceNow solution demonstrations and/or presentations to agency business teams and other key stakeholders.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues.
  • Create and run test cases to guarantee software quality.
  • Document code and application functionality (drafting Functional Design Specification documentation).
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in ServiceNow development to ensure success.
  • Transfer knowledge on administration and development within the ServiceNow platform to the team.

This role is based onsite in Canberra and is an initial 6-month contract starting in January 2025. Holding an active NV1 Security Clearance is an essential requirement.
