Senior Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and capable Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead day-to-day operations in a fast-moving logistics environment.

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone who can think on their feet, deliver daily KPIs, and oversee receiving, putaway, and processing of air freight.

  • Manage labour allocation to optimise efficiency and control costs
  • Lead and mentor a team of warehouse staff to maintain high standards and productivity
  • Ensure accurate inventory management and compliance with Customs and AQIS regulations
  • Promote and enforce OH&S practices to maintain a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and meet client expectations
Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the receiving and processing of air freight
  • Managing labour allocation and ensuring accurate time management
  • Leading and mentoring a team of warehouse staff
  • Ensuring accurate inventory management and compliance with regulations
  • Maintaining a safe working environment through effective OH&S practices

With strong leadership skills and a background in logistics, you will thrive in this dynamic role. You will bring:

  • 2+ years' experience in a Warehouse Supervisor or Operations Manager role
  • Strong background in air freight or logistics environments
  • A current forklift licence and hands-on warehouse experience
  • Familiarity with bonded warehouse compliance and customs procedures
  • Proficiency in WMS and RF scanning systems
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
