Job Description

Business Analyst Opportunity

Westpac Group is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team.

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for undertaking business analysis and instructional design activities for project or process change requests.

  • Manage projects to ensure smooth delivery and define key operational and risk aspects.
  • Represent the business at stakeholder meetings.
  • Maintain discipline in meeting key project milestones.
  • Work with leadership to document the business & people strategy and track outcomes.
  • Liaise with Group Operations (GO) and Line of Business (LOB) representatives on business requirements.
  • Project/program governance, risk, and issue management.
  • Stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the retail banking and financial services market in Australia, as well as a strong track record of change experience.

They will also have sound experience implementing governance and reporting protocols, strong strategic thinking, prioritisation, relationship building, and influencing skills.

Able to manage performance independently and achieve high performance outcomes, the ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience developing and implementing operations strategy and developing the case for critical initiative funding.
