Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team in a challenging role that requires expertise in data analytics, risk management, and business acumen. As a key member of our Institutional Banking & Markets (IB&M) team, you will be responsible for providing specialist risk services and advice to drive business growth and profitability.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including designing and executing stress tests for IB&M, as well as contributing to the development of fit-for-purpose stress test models. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing credit risk forecasts under various stress scenarios for our non-retail portfolios.
  • Embedding our non-retail portfolio credit risk stress testing capabilities to effectively manage credit risk across these portfolios.
  • Undertaking ad-hoc credit risk analysis to support review and challenge of credit risk estimates/forecasts.
  • Designing, reviewing, and enhancing fit-for-purpose stress test models and processes to support credit risk stress testing activities.

Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in data analytics.
  • Experience with data analytical programs such as R, Python, or SAS.
  • Good communication skills and ability to articulate business, industry, and economics context.
  • Understanding of credit risk management and risk concepts/process.
  • Tertiary qualification in a Finance, Economics, Technology, or Quantitative discipline.
