Our client is looking for a Senior Risk Management Specialist to join their team in Melbourne. This exciting opportunity will see you work with high-performing teams across Australia's leading financial institutions, providing strategy and implementation support.

As a Senior Risk Management Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leveraging your understanding of requirements across various regulatory programs, including the interpretation of Prudential and reporting requirements.
  • Gaining broad experience in risk analytics and reporting, including the ability to work with large datasets.
  • Supporting delivery across a range of regulatory transformation programs, leading projects to agreed standards and timescales.
  • Drawing insights and analytics from data to inform stakeholders about changes from regulatory requirements.
  • Designing and implementing data management capabilities to support data risk management.
  • Leading / supporting the wider team with various business development initiatives to support the transformation of risk functions.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years' relevant experience in Risk Analytics within Financial Services / FinTech / Consulting, as well as strong communications and interpersonal skills, client engagement and presentation.

You will also have demonstrated success in maintaining long-term client relationships and networks, in addition to cultivating business development opportunities.

A graduate degree in finance, commerce, law, STEM or similar, with post-graduate qualifications or additional study viewed favourably.
