Job Overview

The Social Media Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting and implementing the university's content strategy. This position is responsible for creating captivating, engaging, and brand-aligned content across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire content lifecycle from conceptualisation to execution.
  • Manage a pool of student ambassadors who contribute to content creation by guiding and coordinating with them to produce diverse and authentic content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Find, source, and identify student talent through promotion, advertising, and networking.
  • Manage a roster of content creators by working collaboratively with other teams across the University to recruit students to actively contribute and support their ongoing engagement.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Proven experience with social media management, content creation, and understanding of social media analytics to continue to improve performance.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), and familiarity with social media management tools (such as Brandwatch).
Benefits

Appointment to this role will be at HEO 6 with a total remuneration package up to $113,029 comprising base salary within the range of $89,091 to $96,606 plus 17% superannuation.
