As a Financial Communications Strategist, you will play a key role in shaping the narrative around ASIC's consumer-focused priorities. Your work will contribute to creating a fair, strong and efficient financial system for all Australians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement external communication strategies that align with MoneySmart and ASIC's objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, agencies, and stakeholders to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Manage media activities, enquiries, and proactive opportunities that support strategic goals.
  • Deliver impactful consumer communication content, including press releases, articles, and digital assets.
  • Oversee campaign performance metrics to ensure successful delivery.
About You / Qualifications:
  • You will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, media, or public relations, with 6–8 years' experience in communications, media, or PR (including digital and social media).
  • Demonstrated success in leading and executing external communication strategies from concept to delivery is essential.
  • Australian media landscape knowledge, content creation skills, and the ability to pitch and secure media coverage are crucial.
