About the Role

Marcellin College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Visual Arts Educator to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Visual Arts Educator, you will be responsible for teaching creative and fine arts to our students, fostering a love for art and creativity in all learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Model excellent teaching practices and build the capabilities of our learners through evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning.
  • Develop inclusive and supportive learning environments that promote positive relationships and communication among students, staff, and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the College's vision and values.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support student growth and development.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience in Visual Arts.
  • A willingness to uphold the vision and values of Marcellin College.
  • Ability to develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the College's vision and values.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use ICT to facilitate and enrich student learning and engagement.
  • Commitment to pastoral care and meeting the social and emotional wellbeing needs of students.
  • Current VIT Registration.
