Job Overview

The Fleet Technology Specialist will provide first line support for onboard truck technology and related hardware. They will assist with problems via phone, email, remote support, site visits or along the driver's route.

Main Responsibilities
  • Install and interface various components with vehicle systems.
  • Maintain excellent customer service and adhere to service management principles.
  • Take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with issues.
  • Disassemble vehicle interiors safely and efficiently.
  • Identify component failures quickly and replace as necessary.
  • Properly install wiring and cables throughout the vehicle.
Requirements
  • High school diploma with 3+ years of related experience.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of PCs, USB peripherals, Bluetooth and cellular data.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Work Environment

  • Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity most of the work day.
  • Occasional exposure to physical occupational risks.
