Job Summary

This is a full-time, shift-based role that requires a strong leader with excellent operational management and incident response capabilities. As the Assistant Transport Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational environment within the Landside Operations of Brisbane Airport, specifically in car parks and Kerbside areas.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operational Oversight: You will maintain communication with stakeholders, contractors, and staff, oversee daily operations, and ensure a hands-on approach when necessary.
  • Incident Management: You will respond to both planned and unplanned incidents, monitor CCTV systems, and manage incidents within car parks, BAC assets, and Kerbside operations.
  • Staff Coordination and Supervision: You will ensure effective deployment of staff, supervise their performance, and assist with inquiries.
  • Customer Service and Security Oversight: You will liaise with other contractors, oversee the car park management system, ensure customer satisfaction, and ensure the security of the airport premises.
Requirements
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a similar management role, preferably within a Car Park Transport and/or Logistics environment.
  • Strong communication skills, high computer literacy, proven staff supervision, and decision-making ability.
  • A high level of professionalism and a commitment to teamwork.
  • Previous experience in customer service or call center roles is preferred.
Benefits
