Job Title: Senior Coordinator, Out of School Hours Care

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to manage the team at our service, ensuring delivery of high-quality care and building strong relationships with children, families, school personnel, and colleagues.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple groups of children within one service. If you are passionate about providing high-quality OSHC programs and a supportive environment for children and families, with skills and experience to lead and manage a team, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time appointment offering a salary range of AU$95,687.23 to AU$97,867.80 p.a. plus 12% superannuation. The role also includes 10% above award wages with WCS Enterprise Agreement, broken shift allowance (where applicable), paid shutdown leave on standard working days between Christmas and New Year, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply National Principles for Child Safe Organisations as applicable to the role.
  • Ensure a high-quality service complying with regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Implement National Quality Framework approach in developing, delivering, and evaluating the service's program.
  • Manage employees at the service, including performance management and professional development.
  • Lead recruitment activities for the service.
  • Responsible for contract variations for employees at the service.
  • Assume the position of Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader under the Children's Education and Care National Law.
  • Collate documentation required for reporting to CECA, sending to the Manager.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
  • Extensive skills, knowledge, and experience in OSHC, including demonstrated use of the My Time, Our Place framework and The Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Current first aid certificate in an education and care setting (including asthma and anaphylaxis).
  • Able to contribute to the development of OSHC policies and procedures.
  • Highly effective interpersonal, leadership, and people management skills.
