Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable horticultural professional to join our team as a gardener and hedge trimmer.

This role involves maintaining gardens to the highest standards, ensuring clients have an exceptional experience throughout their engagement with us.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of gardens, including trimming of hedges, pruning of trees, and lawn mowing.
  • Safe operation and ongoing management of all machinery, including chainsaws, hedgers, brush cutters, and mowers.
  • Soft landscaping and general garden maintenance work.
  • Ability to tow a trailer responsibly and dispose of green waste at transfer stations.
  • Participation in regular training and coaching sessions for career development.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills for effective client and team interactions.
  • A valid manual driver's license and ability to operate machinery safely.
  • Physical fitness for outdoor work in varied weather conditions.
  • Aptitude for learning and growth within the business.
  • Prompt and accurate reporting using Job Management Tool software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years' experience in hedge trimming.
  • Holding a chainsaw license and working at heights certification.
