Job Description

Our organization seeks an experienced and motivated professional to fill a pivotal role in the Learning on Country Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating program operations, engaging with local coordinators and Indigenous stakeholders, and delivering meaningful cultural, educational, and employment outcomes.

The Learning on Country Program aims to connect culture, education, and employment pathways in remote communities. We are seeking a dedicated individual who can play a key role in shaping and supporting this initiative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate program operations, engage with local coordinators, and deliver culturally sensitive outcomes.
  • Develop partnerships with local stakeholders, schools, and ranger groups to support program objectives.
  • Manage relationships with Indigenous leaders, local coordinators, and partner organizations to ensure successful program delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Education, Natural Resource Management, or Indigenous Community Engagement.
  • Minimum three years of experience working in remote Indigenous communities delivering Indigenous programs.
  • Practical experience in negotiation, creation, and implementation of operational plans.
  • Experience working in educational settings with senior secondary and vocational education programs.
  • Current C Class NT Driver's Licence and willingness to undertake frequent and extensive remote travel.
