We are seeking a skilled Roster Clerk to join our team at BaptistCare. As a key member of our aged care services team, you will be responsible for delivering rostering and administrative functions that make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the development and publishing of fortnightly rosters to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
- Timely submission of pay periods to payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in maintaining a master roster within budget, considering occupancy and care minutes.
- Coordinate staff replacement and management of unplanned leave, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Participate in the recruitment process, supporting the growth and development of our team.
- Distribute fortnightly rosters and develop staff daily run sheets, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
- General administrative duties as requested, supporting the smooth operation of our services.
- Essential qualifications and experience:
To meet the requirements of the role, you will have experience with rostering staff in shift-based work, proficiency in using rostering systems and software, excellent communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines and thrive under pressure. - Competency in computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as excellent numeracy skills.
