Delivering exceptional visual effects is a collaborative effort that requires meticulous attention to detail and technical expertise.

A Compositor plays a vital role in this process, working closely with VFX Supervisors and 2D Supervisors to integrate various elements into a cohesive visual effect shot.

This includes combining live-action and computer graphic elements, often requiring complex blue/green screen extractions or intricate CG integration.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 years VFX industry experience as a compositor on high-end live-action feature films
  • Experience using Nuke software
  • A knowledge and interest in photography and practical lighting
  • A showreel showcasing a diverse range of high-end work, including plate-based compositing, set extensions, full CG shots, and FX and CG integration
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity across multiple Senior level shots, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality
  • Nice to Have
  • Experience as a Roto and Prep Artist
  • Deep compositing capabilities
  • Look development experience
  • Ability to mentor junior artists
