Job Description

We are seeking a Visual Effects Supervisor to lead our team in the creation of high-quality visual effects for live-action projects.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in leading teams, managing complex projects, and delivering results under tight deadlines.


Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of artists as they produce visual effects assets, set up a working pipeline, and deliver final elements for shots on your project.
  • Provide technical and creative leadership for the team and maintain clear communication between artists, the production team, and show leads/supervisors.
  • Contribute to bidding and crewing for the project, offering feedback on crew and pipeline improvements when asked.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience as a Visual Effects Supervisor or Sequence Supervisor working on high-end live-action VFX work.
  • Excellent creative eye and aesthetic judgement.
  • Experience interpreting clients' vision and relaying that to your internal team of artists.
  • Ability to sell a creative solution and idea to clients.
  • Ability to reduce complex problems to their simplest solutions.
  • Thorough understanding of the complete VFX pipeline.
  • Strong history of collaborating with R&D teams and the ability to provide, test and deploy new tool specifications in a production environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Expert in Maya and proficient in other industry-standard software.
