The role of FX Supervisor involves leading a team of experts and overseeing the day-to-day production requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the technical and artistic aspects of visual effects production to achieve high-quality photorealistic simulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the FX team to deliver high-quality photorealistic simulations.
  • Collaborate with producers, VFX supervisors, and other departmental leaders to plan and execute FX work.
Qualifications – Essential Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years experience as an FX TD, preferably with previous experience as an FX Supervisor.
  • Extensive knowledge of Houdini software.
  • Proven expertise in producing complex effects such as smoke, fire, clouds, water, steam, and explosions.
  • Ability to provide artistic and technical solutions to the Effects Team.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in project management, balancing quality with time constraints.
  • High-level feature film experience in live-action VFX films.
  • Leadership and training experience with teams of FX Artists.
Qualifications – Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of Python, HScript, or MEL programming languages.
  • Experience in live-action FX work preferred.
  • Familiarity with Maya or equivalent 3D software.
