Senior Leadership Role

The Account Manager (IWP Lead) is a senior leadership position responsible for delivering complex defence projects and programs while fostering strong client relationships and driving strategic outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead planning, coordination, and delivery of the IWP in accordance with policies, procedures, and governance requirements.
  • Oversee IWP performance and ensure successful project outcomes while enhancing our reputation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through effective communication and delivery alignment.
  • Manage financials, forecasting, cost controls, and compliance with MSP and governance.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and People & Culture to support workforce planning, recruitment, engagement, and development.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to business growth and future bids.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or similar, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management experience, ideally in Defence or Defence Industry.
  • Background in project management or consulting.
  • AGSVA NV1 Clearance (minimum), with ability to obtain NV2.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Senior leadership experience in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Defence sector project or contract management experience.
  • Cost account management experience.
