Automation Engineer Opportunity

This is a fantastic chance to work with cutting-edge automation solutions, partnering with clients across various industries. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automation systems that enhance productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and program automation solutions using PLCs, motion control, and robotics
  • Partner with account managers on customer meetings, needs analysis, and technical proposals
  • Conduct product demonstrations, training, and technical presentations
  • Collaborate with vendors to size and select components for optimal performance
  • Document projects and create technical resources for future use

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in controls engineering from concept to commissioning
  • Strong PLC programming skills, ideally with Bosch Rexroth and Codesys (Siemens experience transferable)
  • Knowledge of motion control, robotics, and industrial communication protocols
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple projects and priorities
