Job Opportunity: Automation Solutions Specialist

Ocado's OSP system requires a highly skilled and experienced Automation Solutions Specialist to oversee the ongoing reliability and maintenance of our fully automated robotic solution in Sydney.

This role involves leading a team of service technicians responsible for ensuring our Bots perform at their highest level. As a key member of our team, you will be hands-on in guaranteeing optimal efficiency and productivity.

About You:

  • A relevant trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related field is essential for this role.
  • You should have experience in leadership/team management, ideally within a Service environment.
  • The ability to work at heights, certified or able to be certified, is also required.
  • A Current White Card or the ability to obtain one is necessary.
  • You must possess a 'can-do' attitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to make real-time decisions to lead teams to best outcomes.
  • A keen interest in technology and a desire to learn more about automation and Ocado solutions are desirable.
  • An existing D license is highly regarded, as is experience with PLC/SCADA systems.
