Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Coordinator to join our team on a temporary basis, with the potential to extend or become permanent. The role is based in the Eastern suburbs and offers a competitive hourly rate, along with flexible working options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare payroll for approval, including any deductions and documentation required.
  • Maintain accurate records of leave payments, superannuation, and other entitlements.
  • Process fortnightly and monthly payments, ensuring timely and error-free execution.
  • Update staff database records regularly to guarantee precise payrolling.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and manage long service leave, superannuation, and workers' compensation.
  • Assist with month-end reporting and contribute to additional finance projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a payroll coordinator or equivalent role.
  • Tertiary qualification in accounting, payroll, or a related field.
  • High level of accuracy, strong attention to detail, and confidentiality.
  • Able to multitask effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
