
Comprehensive Pain Psychologist

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and enthusiastic Pain Psychologist to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, an interest in pain management, and enjoy working in a team environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive psychological assessment and treatment to clients in the pain management program.
- Facing patients in face-to-face and telehealth treatment sessions.
- Conducting psychology group sessions with care and attention.
- Participating actively in team meetings, patient case conferences, and supervision sessions.
- Contributing significantly to program development and quality improvement initiatives.
The Centre offers high-quality patient-focused care across various rehabilitation specialties. A friendly and supportive staff environment provides a collaborative platform for our established multidisciplinary team serving both inpatient and outpatient programs.
Essential Requirements- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology that meet industry standards.
- Eligibility for membership to the Australian Psychological Association.
- Desirable experience in pain management or rehabilitation.
- Proven ability to provide individual therapy and facilitate psychological educational groups.
- Excellent time management and flexibility skills.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Membership to APS College of Clinical Psychologists is desired.
- Advanced qualifications and expertise in a therapeutic model are welcome.
