Senior Credit Operations Leader

This pivotal leadership role is integral to the success of our Finance Team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of credit controllers and providing strong coaching and mentoring.
  • Reviewing processes and policies with the Business Performance Manager to implement improvements.
  • Collaborating with the Business Performance Manager to enforce National Credit Policy and ensure compliance.
  • Oversight of outstanding debtors and debtor collection processes.
  • Engaging with partners, managers, and clients to achieve monthly collection targets.
  • Preparing timely and accurate reports for efficient debtor ledger management.
  • Managing invoice and statement distribution via email, including managing exceptions.
  • Effective dispute resolution and repayment plan management.
  • Implementing credit control policies and adhering to National Credit Management procedures.

As a Senior Credit Operations Leader, you will be responsible for managing all facets of the credit function and refining credit policies and procedures. You will work closely with the Credit Control Team and Business Performance Managers to contribute to debtor reduction and collection efforts.

Requirements for this role include prior experience in a professional services setting, preferably in a similar position. The ideal candidate will have an intrinsic motivation, results-driven mindset, and ability to build relationships across all levels. Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements is essential, along with effective time management, organisational skills, and autonomy or collaborative working styles.
