We are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to fill a permanent part-time position with our team in Hobart, Tasmania.

About the Role

As a mobile clinician, you will be providing care to Australians wherever they call home. You will have variety in your caseload and the opportunity to utilise your skills and grow as a health professional with continued clinical support and mentoring from senior clinicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Home Care Package clients to remain independent at home through assessments, equipment prescriptions, and home modifications.
  • Provide rehabilitation in the home program focusing on post-orthopaedic surgery.
  • Support Hospital in the Home program for clients after hospitalisation, including general surgeries.
Working in Residential Aged Care
  • Complete assessments, including initial visits, reviews, post-hospitalisation, and falls.
  • Develop, implement, and manage programs for residents, including group programs and individual sessions.
  • Prescribe equipment for residents.
About You

You will be fully registered or Limited Registered clinician, ideally with a minimum 1 year's experience in a community or Aged Care setting. As a mobile Occupational Therapist, you will need to be comfortable travelling to clients across the Hobart region and will provide your own vehicle with kilometre reimbursement provided for this travel.
