Project Officer Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Project Officer to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects. The successful candidate will be passionate about collaborating with diverse stakeholders and driving impactful projects forward.

The role includes project management, community engagement program planning, event management, monitoring and reporting, and consultation and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with Aboriginal communities and stakeholders across New South Wales.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from initiation to completion, including report preparation, resource coordination, and project plan implementation and monitoring.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders, particularly when working with Aboriginal communities, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Culturally Sensitive Communication: Communicate and consult with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples in a culturally sensitive manner.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in project management and stakeholder engagement, particularly in an Aboriginal context. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
