Job Description

The Community Wellbeing Project Assistant supports the community wellbeing team in developing, funding, implementing and evaluating projects, programs, grants and partnerships.

This role works with residents, community organisations and government agencies to deliver high-quality services.

Key responsibilities include coordinating project implementation and stakeholder engagement, developing and maintaining relationships with community groups and stakeholders, supporting program development and evaluation, and assisting with grant writing and reporting.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in coordinating community programs or initiatives
  • Experience working with diverse communities including young people, seniors, Aboriginal people, LGBTQ+ community, people living with disability, culturally diverse communities
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, community engagement and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to collaborate with partners and stakeholders to support program delivery
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
