Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to support contract management across remote infrastructure projects in locations across South Australia.

This is a long-term engagement with potential for extensions, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management, leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in remote locations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management

Manage multiple construction and infrastructure contracts in remote South Australia, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project requirements.

Team Leadership

Lead and mentor teams, supporting succession planning for government staff and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Relationship Building

Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders, promoting effective communication and cooperation.

Commercial Acumen

Provide commercial advice and compliance oversight, ensuring sound financial management and risk mitigation strategies.


Requirements
  • Experience

A minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure project delivery and contract management, with a strong track record of success.

Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualifications and a current Driver's Licence.

Skills

Demonstrated experience managing contracts up to $50M, strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and cultural sensitivity.

Adaptability

Ability to work in remote locations, including overnight stays and varied hours, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
