Job Opportunity

Assist the leadership team in coordinating daily operations at a material recycling facility.

This role ensures operational tasks are completed according to safety and environmental standards, customer expectations, and targets. Tasks include maintenance of plant and equipment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe operation of the material recovery facility in accordance with maintenance scheduling and policies.
  • Perform scheduled inspections, cleaning, adjustments, and parts replacement for plant equipment.
  • Manage procurement processes and relationships with suppliers.
  • Lead team performance, including contractors.
  • Maintain effective stakeholder relationships and resolve issues impacting team safety or effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably with process plant and/or mechanical equipment maintenance.
  • Operational leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of plant maintenance systems.
  • Mechanical certification (desired).
  • Forklift License (desired).
