About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Lead to join our Policy and Research team at No To Violence. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving our research agenda, developing and delivering high-quality research projects, and influencing the national family violence research agenda.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality research projects that inform our advocacy and policy work
  • Manage our involvement in external research projects and collaborations
  • Provide evidence-based policy analysis to inform our advocacy and policy work
  • Support policy initiatives in specific jurisdictions
  • Translate research knowledge to stakeholders, including member organisations
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced researcher with a strong background in family violence research and policy. You will have a post-graduate tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as Public Policy, Gender Studies, Sociology, or Criminology. You will also have demonstrated commitment to centring the experiences of marginalised communities and peoples' experiences of family violence in research.

You will have strong qualitative research skills, with experience managing and delivering impactful research projects in similar research roles. You will also have a track-record of writing high-quality reports and other publications on family violence or related social policy.
