About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and consumer-centric brand, insights, and research consultancy. Our client is a leading provider of FMCG, Retail, and shopper insights, with a strong presence in Australia and the USA.

As a Qualitative Research Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading projects from pitch to presentation, with a focus on proposal writing, insight delivery, and presentation.
  • Deepening relationships with existing and new FMCG/retail clients.
  • Mentoring, inspiring, and elevating junior team members.
  • Strategic planning, new business development, and elevating the agency's qual capabilities, tools, and ways of working with the multidisciplinary team.
What We're Looking For

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Qualitative Research Director with:

  • Proven senior-level experience in qualitative research or brand strategy.
  • A hands-on qual practitioner with FMCG & CPG/retail expertise.
  • Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • A track record of writing and winning proposals.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring junior researchers.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically.
