Job Title: Child Protection Specialist

We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our child protection team as specialists in assessing and addressing safety and risk concerns for children and young people.

The successful candidate will undertake assessments to identify and mitigate risks, engage with families and carers to develop effective solutions, and work collaboratively with other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and address safety and risk concerns for children and young people
  • Develop and implement effective intervention strategies to support families and carers
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a coordinated approach to child protection
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and interventions

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in statutory child protection services or within statutory investigation services
  • Valid driver's licence (P1 or above)
  • Paid working with children clearance number
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
