Job Title: Speech Pathologist

HealthcareLink is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team in Newcastle, NSW. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing communication disorders in paediatric and adult clients.

About the Role:

This is a permanent role that offers a competitive remuneration package based on experience. You will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to support the therapy needs of NDIS participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders
  • Design, trial, and implementation of low-tech and high-tech communication devices
  • Development, implementation, monitoring, and review of treatment plans
  • Assessment and management of swallowing difficulties
  • Supervision and mentoring of junior staff members
Requirements:
  • Degree in Speech Pathology and registration with the Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills and clear report writing skills
  • Current driver's license and own vehicle
  • Current Police Check and Working with Children Check
