Speech Pathologist in Mobile Paediatric Practice

Foundation First Speech Pathology is a close-knit team dedicated to providing holistic interventions that prioritize family and individual experiences. We focus on supporting the voices of those with lived experience of disability and neurodivergence.
Job DescriptionAs a Speech Pathologist in our team, you will work with paediatric clients in the community or via telehealth. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your caseloads, communication with families, and implementation of therapies.
RequirementsTo be eligible for this position, you must have:
- A relevant accredited degree in Speech Pathology
- Eligibility and membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- A Current NSW Driver's License and access to a vehicle
- A Current NDIS Worker's Check or ability to obtain one
- Fully vaccinated (3 doses) against COVID-19 or relevant Medical Exemption
We are looking for a Speech Pathologist who:
- Has demonstrated ability to work within a billable model and be accountable for daily activities.
- Has knowledge of, and experience in holistic approaches to early intervention.
- Can develop functional goals with a family and build capacity in the child's networks to achieve the goals in the child's natural environments.
- Can work in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to support children and their families.
- Has experience working with children and families from culturally diverse backgrounds and people with disability.
- Has effective oral and written communication and organisational skills.
- Has knowledge, and experience of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
- We cap billables at 5hrs per day, including non-direct and travel time.
- We include a $750/year professional development budget PLUS 5 PAID Study Leave days per year (or equivalent for PT) or you can choose to convert this to 5 days additional annual leave.
