Midwife Researcher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated midwife with an interest in obstetric care and clinical research to support high-quality maternity care across the district.

This role offers the opportunity to enhance specialist skills, contribute to meaningful research, and participate in multidisciplinary education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collecting blood samples and swabs for research purposes.
  • Accommodating a higher volume of patients for research purposes.
  • Supporting ongoing research activities and contributing to the growth of our biobank.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and engage with patients/consumers, families, carers and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2).
